Eğitim Meselesinde Nerede Duralım?

Einstein der ki:

“Fiziğin konusu ışıktır. Bizim üzerinde çalışabileceğimiz konu ışıktır, karanlık değil. Karanlık ışığın olmadığı yerdir.”

Aslında bu yaklaşım eğitimcilerin nerede durmasına dair kesin bir ölçü içeriyor.

Eğitimcinin durması gereken yer; çalışabileceği, çalışması gereken yerdir.

Yani;

Karanlık değil ışık,

Şiddet değil sevgi,

Kötülük değil iyilik,

Çirkinlik değil güzellik,

Fücur değil takva,

Şirk değil tevhid,

Ayrılık değil birlik,

Düşmanlık değil dostluk,

Şer değil hayır,

Surat asmak değil gülümsemek,

Karamsarlık değil ümit,

Can sıkıntısı değil meşguliyet,

Şikâyet değil memnuniyet ve şükür olmalıdır.

“Gayri memnunlar medeniyet kuramaz” tespitini yapar İbn Haldun.

İmam Maturidi de “Sözlerinize dikkat edin! Kader sözlerinize müvekkeldir. Sözleriniz kaderiniz olur” sözüyle kelimelerin önemine dikkat çeker.

Allah Resulü (s.a.v.):

“Kim insanlar helak oldu, helak oldu derse en evvel kendisi helak olmuştur” cümlesiyle bakış açısının insan hayatındaki önemini vurgular.

Hadis- Kudsi’de Allah Teâla (c.c.):

“Kulum beni nasıl bilirse ona öyle muamele ederim” hakikatiyle insanın taşıdığı zanların onun yolunun işaretleri olduğunu bildirir.

Eşya zıddıyla bilinir.

Nerede durduğumuz aslında neyin karşısında durduğumuzu da belirler

O halde eğitimci;

Daima müspet, olumlu, pozitif tarafta durmalıdır.

Bir “deniz feneri” gibi önce kendisini sonra toplumu aydınlatmalıdır.

Where do we stand on the issue of education?

Einstein said:

“The subject of physics is light. The subject we should work on is light, not darkness. Darkness is where there is no light.”

In fact, this approach contains a definite measure of where educators should stand. The place where an educator should stand is the place where they can and should work.

That is;

Light, not darkness,

Love, not violence,

Goodness, not evil,

Beauty, not ugliness,

Piety, not depravity,

Oneness of God, not polytheism,

Unity, not separation,

Friendship, not enmity,

Goodness, not wickedness,

Smiling, not frowning,

Hope, not pessimism,

Accomplice, not boredom,

Consent and gratitude, not complaints.

The examples can be multiplied.

Ibn Khaldun observes that “Those who are dissatisfied cannot build civilization.”

Imam Maturidi also draws attention to the importance of words with the saying,

“Be careful with your words! Destiny is entrusted to your words. Your words become your destiny.”

The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) emphasizes the importance of perspective in human life with the statement,

“Whoever says that people are doomed, they are doomed, is the first to be doomed himself.”

In a Hadith Qudsi, Allah Almighty (swt) states,

“I treat My servant as he knows Me,” indicating that the assumptions a person holds are signs of his path.

Things are known by their opposites.

Where we stand actually determines what we stand against.

Therefore, the educator;

Must always stand on the positive, upright side.

Like a “lighthouse,” they must illuminate first themselves and then society.
